Taylor Swift donates to LA Wildfire Relief amid 'suffering, loss & destruction'

Taylor Swift has now spoken out about the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires, sharing in an Instagram Story that she has donated to several organizations. She encouraged her fans to do the same.

“The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold,” she wrote.

“So much suffering, loss, and destruction. As so many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild. These are the organizations I’ve donated to. If you feel compelled or able to donate, please do.”

MusiCares; Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund. Swift’s statement comes around the same time her good friend Selena Gomez posted footage of herself volunteering with her fiancé, Benny Blanco, to help wildfire relief.

Gomez and her brand, Rare Beauty, also shared suggestions on Instagram about which organizations to support and detailed what they are doing to help.

“Together, we assembled emergency care kits with essentials for evacuation centers and have made donations to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and World Central Kitchen, who are on the ground providing immediate aid.
