Taylor Swift stunned her fans with the release of her latest album The Tortured Poets Department. The double album thrilled her followers who were excited to listen to all 31 of the tracks.
However, the surprise came after listening to the tunes. Many fans believed that the album would mostly be about the singer’s 6-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, which ended a year before the record was released.
However, many of the songs were geared more toward her former fling, The 1975 lead singer Matty Healy. Although Kim Kardashian and Travis Kelce had some songs on the album as well, Healy is allegedly featured heavily. After her split with Alwyn, Swift was romantically linked to Healy.
Although the couple never commented on their relationship, they were spotted out in public together. While the relationship only seemed to last a matter of weeks, it was much more impactful than anyone could have guessed.

Of course, this led the singer to write several songs that are thought to be about Healy, such as the title track. “What looked at the time like a two-month rebound with a bad boy was so much more intense than anyone realized,” an insider tells Life and Style Magazine.
“Forget Joe. Matty is the man who really broke Taylor’s heart,” the source added. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift dedicating much of her album to Matty Healy may actually throw shade at Joe Alwyn.
Although it’s likely unintentional, the singer seemed to be more torn up about her split with Healy than she was over ending her long relationship with the actor.
However, it has been reported that Swift and Alwyn parted on good terms and have a lot of love for one another. Perhaps, the singer wanted to keep much of that private since their relationship played out behind closed doors. Either way, fans are certain that she was hurt deeply by Healy.
“She finally opted for passion with Matty, but it quickly soured because of his lies about what he wanted for their future,” the informant dished.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has found love again with Travis Kelce. The two appear to be very happy together, and fans are loving their sweet romance.
