Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, wrapped off her almost two-year “Eras Tour” in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8. Due of her final show, the Grammy-winning singer was unable to attend a Chiefs home game for the first time during the 2024 NFL season.
On Saturday afternoon, Swift returned to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for Kansas City’s final regular-season home game. The Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 27-19, securing their fifth consecutive victory. At one point during the game, Kansas City fans can be heard booing. Swift, who has been sitting in the Kelce suite since their relationship began, joined in with the audience, cupping her hands around her lips to increase the volume.
the booing? she’s a chiefs fan since she was a fetus, you can’t tell me otherwise https://t.co/tyTSRXvj60 pic.twitter.com/WkvGqa9u42

It’s unclear what Swift and the rest of the crowd were upset over. However, booing is a usual response when an official makes a call against the home club, as appears to be the case here. Swift has now been to 20 of Kelce’s games since their relationship began in September 2023. In those games, the Chiefs are 17-3, including a perfect 7-0 record during the 2024 NFL season. With the win, the Chiefs improved to 14-1 and are closing in on the AFC’s top playoff slot. They will have two games left in the regular season, against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas and the Denver Broncos in the finale.
