She demanded, among other things, that Baldoni refrain from posting obscene photos or videos, talking about his purported history of “pornography addiction,” making remarks about her weight, or bringing up her late father. She also made sure that the script she authorized when she joined the film did not include any additional explicit sequences.

The allegations indicate to a heated situation that got so bad that Lively’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, had to attend a “all-hands-on-deck” meeting.

Taylor Swift’s close friend and Ryan Reynolds’ wife, Lively, also claims that the rupture was exacerbated by arguments over the movie’s marketing strategy. Baldoni pushed for a story about domestic abuse that matched the themes of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book, even though she wanted the advertising focus to emphasize her character’s tenacity. According to Lively, these disagreements had a big role in the movie’s failure.

The lawsuit claims that Baldoni’s team carried out a “social manipulation” operation aimed at harming her reputation, as Lively puts it. According to texts included in the lawsuit, Baldoni’s publicist is allegedly considering ways to “bury” Lively.

Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s lawyer, has vehemently refuted the accusations, describing them as “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious.” According to Freedman, Lively’s threats to not show up for filming or promote the picture were part of her tough behavior on site, which he says hurt the movie’s box office performance.

Additionally, it was said that Lively felt fat shamed when Baldoni inquired about her weight with his trainer during production. According to reports, Baldoni has defended the investigation, saying it was not meant to disparage her but rather was connected to worries about his back ailment.
