Although dating the two most well-known players, Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes will not be featured in the Kansas City Chiefs’ upcoming documentary that chronicles the lives of the team’s wives and girlfriends.
Swift, who is undoubtedly the most popular musician in the world right now, values her privacy much despite being continuously photographed and tracked by cameras both domestically and abroad.
She won’t be shown in the upcoming Bravo documentary, which follows Travis Kelce’s girlfriend as she sets out on her record-breaking Eras Tour, in an effort to avoid having additional cameras aimed at her or shoved in her face.
“Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all,” a source told PEOPLE. “And will not even be filmed.
“Taylor especially is very protective of what little private life she has left. She enjoys all the ladies she’s met, but she will not be a part of Bravo’s storyline.”
Since roughly August 2023, Swift and the team’s tight end have been dating. Swift’s presence has elevated the football player to a whole new level of stardom and brought in an additional $400 million for the NFL, according to reports.
The league is trying to capitalize on Swifties’ star power as they start to enjoy the sport, and she is frequently seen on TV when she goes to Arrowhead Stadium or other events to cheer on her boyfriend as he bids
Whilst the Kansas City Chiefs have dominated the NFL since the 2019 season, a lot isn’t actually known about the women behind the players’ successes except for Swift, who was already a global superstar prior to dating Kelce.
So with lots of storylines to uncover and lots of footage and interviews to choose to make the final cut, the show is still very much a work in progress.
“There’s still lots to figure out,” the source added. “Including who would be a part of the final cast and whether there’s enough there to build a full series around. It’s very much a work in progress.”
However, early door projections indicate that the partners of Chris Jones (Sheawna Weathersby) and Mecole Hardman Jr. (Chariah Gordon), who have been hanging out with Swift recently, will be the stars of the show.
“The action is all centered around Chariah and Sheawna and their group of friends,” another source told PEOPLE. “Who all know the struggles of being partners to these workaholic athletes.”
