Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs secured their fifth-consecutive win on a rare Saturday NFL game after defeating the Houston Texans 27-19 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs defense, led by defensive tackle Chris Jones, were able to force two turnovers by Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, which helped give Kansas City an extra ten points.

Jones was constantly in Stroud’s face, tallying four QB hits. However, with just under 12 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the former Mississippi State defender went down with a calf injury. Jones appeared to be in some pain as he was down on the turf for some time and Kansas City deemed him questionable to return.
As Jones was making his way to the sideline following the injury, Kelce met him in the middle of the field to make sure he was okay. The tight end was seen smiling and laughing with the DT before giving him a high five.
Fans loved this moment between Kelce and Jones, leaving their thoughts on social media. “Travis not even on the defense and he’s out there for Chris!” one fan said. “He’s such a great teammate,” added a second.

“Travis trying to make him laugh,” wrote a third. “Kelce smiling there at Chris makes me feel a lot better,” commented a fourth. “Lmao at Travis out to the hash to make sure Chris got up,” posted a fifth. “He is just happy being there,” chimed in a sixth.
Kelce finished the day with another underwhelming performance on the stat sheet, recording just five catches for 30 yards.
He remains one touchdown away from passing Chiefs legend Tony Gonzalez for the most receiving scores in team history, with each totaling 76 during their careers.
