In Week 3, “Sunday Night Football” will feature a game between the 2-0 Kansas City Chiefs and the 1-0 Atlanta Falcons. The squad will play its first regular season game at Arrowhead Stadium since late in the 2020 campaign when it takes on NBC in the primetime slot.
Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Chiefs, arrived to Mercedes-Benz Stadium a few hours before start dressed in full business clothing.
The two-time NFL MVP wore a navy blue suit with pinstriped detailing, a baby blue tie, a white pocket square, and white sunglasses.

A video of the event was posted on the Chiefs’ social media page with the description, “Suited for Sunday night.” It circulated on social media very rapidly.
“Sunday night business trip,” the NFL’s official X account echoed.
“Chiefs by 1000,” one fan wrote.
After defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 and the Baltimore Ravens on NFL Opening Night, Kansas City has a perfect 2-0 record through two games.
Mahomes, who turned 29 only a few days ago, is hoping to win his fourth Super Bowl in eight seasons. He just finished a game last Sunday against the Bengals defense that saw him commit two turnovers.
71.2% of his pass attempts this season have been completed for 442 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.
8:20 p.m. ET is when Atlanta is expected to kick underway. NBC and its Peacock streaming service will both air the game.
