Brittany Mahomes is showing the world a glimpse of her little one!
On Thursday, June 12, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, shared a series of photos in a joint Instagram post that featured the first photo of her 5-month-old daughter, Golden Raye’s, face. In the first photo, the family of five posed together in front of a brown backdrop.
Brittany’s husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, stood holding their baby daughter, who wore a denim jumper and a white onesie.
The proud mom also included solo shots of her 4-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 2, as well as a photo of all three siblings smiling together. “What truly matters,” Brittany wrote in her caption.
In family pictures taken by Sarah Schneider, Golden—the spitting image of siblings Sterling, 4, and Bronze, 2—wears a denim onesie and a big white bow. And while still very little, Golden showed off her personality in one picture of Brittany holding her as she wears an adorable toothless smile.
This sweet reveal of baby Golden’s face comes three months after Brittany shared plans to keep the infant off social media “for a while.”
However, the 29-year-old went on to give glimpses of her newborn here and there. In April, she held Golden in a family picture shared to Instagram for Easter, with the infant’s face hidden.
Earlier this week, Brittany appeared on the WHOOP podcast and opened up about welcoming her baby daughter Golden Raye. As she spoke with host Will Ahmed, the founder & CEO of the fitness company noted he’d just chatted with Patrick, who said Brittany can be competitive in labor.
“And now I was just talking to Patrick, and he said you were very competitive about the labor process. Like it was going to be the best birth ever,” Ahmed said.
“Yes. Yes. And it was. Every birth, I got better. My push time decreased,” Brittany shared.
Asked if she keeps track of it, Brittany confirmed that she does. “Yes. Yeah. Every year I’m like, ‘Okay. We got to beat seven minutes. We got to beat five minutes. We got to do it,’ ” she joked. “And we did.”
Although this is the first picture of Golden’s face, Brittany has shared glimpse at her little one over the past few months and has even explained why she initially didn’t want to share pictures of her daughter.
Meanwhile, Patrick couldn’t be happier with their family of five.
“Brittany crushed it,” Patrick gushed in a Chiefs press conference shortly after his wife gave birth. “It’s been cool to add another baby girl to our family and see how my other kids react to her.”
As for whether the Mahomes would ever add another little one to their brood? “My goal has always been three,” Patrick added in the press conference. “We’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
