NFL Veteran Leaves No Doubt About His Opinion of Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift Romance

There is no more high-profile relationship in the NFL today — maybe even ever — than that of Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce and pop megastar Taylor Swift.

These two have been dating for over a year now, and if anything, it appears that the immense popularity of their relationship is just getting bigger and bigger.

While there might have been some folks out there who have been quick to criticize the Kelce-Swift romance and the unwanted effect it has had on the league, the greater majority has embraced the relationship with open arms. This is definitely the case for NFL veteran defensive end Isaac Rochell, who, for his part, had nothing but good things to say about Kelce’s relationship with Swift.

In fact, Rochell, who is currently a free agent, revealed that the way the Chiefs star acts toward his girlfriend has impacted Rochell on a personal level.

“I’m here for it,” Rochell said of Kelce and Swift’s union in an exclusive interview with People. “The Chiefs are undefeated right now, and Travis Kelce just had his best game of the season.

“Fans criticize me all the time for doing things outside of football, but then you see Travis, very present in pop culture, flying to New York during his bye week, being a great boyfriend, and still having an incredible football season with the best team in the NFL. It’s really refreshing to see.”

Rochell admitted that he’s gotten some pushback from the fans for sharing aspects of his personal life on social media instead of just focusing on his football.

However, Kelce has, in a way, paved the way for him and other players who are in a similar situation in terms of proving that one can have a lot of stuff going on in their personal life and still excel on the field.

Rochell, 29, also has a strong opinion about Kelce’s girlfriend. “Taylor Swift is also a great representative of the awesome women that make up the NFL. She’s sharp, she’s legit,” he adds. At this point, Rochell, who last played in the NFL with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023, is still looking to find his next team.
