In the coming year, former Philadelphia Eagles great Jason Kelce will host a new late-night show on ESPN.

‘They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce,’ which will debut on ESPN’s platforms on January 3, will feature the soon-to-be Hall of Famer as its face. Five installments of the hour-long conversation program are scheduled to air on Friday nights during the NFL playoffs.

Inspired by classic late-night talk shows, the show will be filmed at Union Transfer Center in Philadelphia with a live studio audience. It will highlight the NFL’s top storylines.

SNACKTIME, a band from Philadelphia, will also perform live as part of the event.

The program will first air on ESPN before being posted to Kelce’s and the broadcaster’s YouTube sites. NFL Films, Skydance Studios, and Kelce’s Wonderboy Productions are handling the production.

“We’ll be doing a late-night show during the postseason on ESPN,” Kelce revealed on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’. “When I first approached ESPN about potentially working for them, Monday Night Football was a big part of that.”

“[But] I loved late-night shows, I’ve always loved them. I remember sleepovers watching Conan O’Brien with my friends. The biggest thing players say they miss when they leave the sport is being around the guys, the locker rooms, the banter.”

“Being able to have the show where we’re going to have a bunch of guys up there, legends of the game, friends that I’ve played the game win, coaches, celebrities. NFL Films is also going to be part of it.”

After retiring from the NFL, Kelce joined ESPN as their 2024 star acquisition. Alongside Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark, and Marcus Spears, the former Super Bowl champion has established himself as a regular on “Monday Night Countdown.”
