Jason Kelce Caught in Another Wild Fan Confrontation After Late-Night Show Appearance

Man Apologizes After Shouting Insulting Expletives At Jason Kelce

An enraged autograph seeker hurled an insult at Jason Kelce as he exited ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Thursday. The former NFL great, 37, arrived at a LA studio in the afternoon to film an appearance on the late-night show, which aired a few hours later. As he exited the lot, a man wanting an autograph from the Philadelphia Eagles great erupted in a rage after Kelce passed him by. The alleged fan was seen throwing obscene remarks at the ESPN analyst, who was involved in a separate fan brawl earlier this month.

‘You ain’t nobody special!’ the man hollered in video obtained by TMZ. ‘You’re some s*** bag, f***ing guy that thinks he’s on some pedestal!’ The retired NFL center had to get out of his vehicle and try to de-escalate the situation after being bombarded with expletives. ‘I have a habit of not signing for people who follow me around,’ he explained, hoping to persuade the man to back off. However, the jilted autograph hunter was still unsatisfied. He not only refused to give up, but he also appeared to dare Kelce to a fight.

‘I’ll be running the Marvel Cinematic Universe,’ the guy said. ‘Watch for me, you p***y! F*** you. And f*** your love!’ Kelce shattered a fan’s phone earlier this month while appearing on ESPN’s College GameDay, in response to a statement made about his brother Travis and girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The oldest Kelce brother was at Penn State for the school’s big college football game against Ohio State when he was teased by a spectator. ‘Hey Kelce! How does it feel your brother is a f***** for dating Taylor Swift?’ a fan shouted at him. Kelce continued walking after the homophobic slur before turning around and violently slamming the fan’s phone to the ground. He then snatched it up again and asked, “Who is the f***** now?” before walking away.

It’s unclear if the phone belonged to the man who made the nasty remarks about Travis. Kelce later apologized for his outburst on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown, telling fans that he had ‘fallen short’ of his customary standards of ‘common decency and respect’.

‘I believe everyone has seen on social media what transpired this week,’ Kelce added. ‘Listen, I’m not thrilled with anything that happened. I am not proud of it.

‘In a heated moment, I chose to respond to hate with hate, and I don’t think that’s a healthy thing. I don’t think it leads to discourse, and I believe it is the correct approach. In that moment, I fell to an unacceptable degree.’The bottom line is that I try to live my life by the golden rule, which is what I’ve always been taught; I try to treat people with decency and respect, and I intend to continue doing so.

“Even though I fell short this week, I’m going to do that moving forward and continue to do so.” The former center’s popularity has increased dramatically as a result of his brother Travis’ friendship with pop diva Taylor Swift during the last year. And the pair were both’really astonished by this because Jason is one of the nicest guys in the world,’ a source close to them told DailyMail.com.

‘It was evident how much he loved and respected Taylor. Travis means everything to him. ‘Using the term f***** is unacceptable to him or anyone else. This fan crossed a line. Jason will never tolerate someone disparaging his family, and he considers Taylor to be family now.
