For Week 2 of the NFL season, Jason Kelce chose a more casual outfit than his Monday Night Countdown teammates. The Eagles legend attracted attention on Monday night with his Philadelphia homecoming suit. Kelce wore a South Philly tuxedo to the Eagles game against the Atlanta Falcons at Lincoln Field, while Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark, and Marcus Spears also wore elegant suits.
The former center was all decked up in Kelly Green, paying homage to his beloved Eagles. His brightly colored velour tracksuit top and pants strangely had an Italy emblem on them. It was Kelce’s second appearance of the night after he participated in the tailgate festivities wearing an equally laid-back attire with a Philadelphia motif.
Jason entertained the fans with some ‘cool’ dance moves as they waited for the game to begin. Wearing an Eagles t-shirt and shorts for his second Monday Night Countdown assignment of his career, he was spotted walking around the parking lot at the Linc. Kelce was not just present for “Countdown,” but it had been announced earlier in the day that he would also be in the booth.
Troy Aikman, an NFL commentator for ESPN, made the announcement that Kelce would be sitting in the booth with him and play-by-play man Joe Buck during the third quarter. Kelce tweeted, “Oh man, this is gonna be fun tonight!!” before making a joke, “I will remain as unbiased as possible.” Go, Eagles!
The decision to give Kelce more responsibility comes a week after his Monday Night Football debut with the network.
As all of this was going on, his brother Travis was having fun with his debut, claiming that he and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, were “dying laughing” while they watched him on television.
The majority of people were chuckling as well, and Kelce’s on-air debut was praised for its overall success. Although their positions are so dissimilar that it’s difficult to really compare the two, it was also thought to be a far better debut than Tom Brady’s. Meanwhile, Jason’s former QB, Jalen Hurts and Bryonna “Bry” Burrows have confirmed their engagement.
The couple had earlier raised the possibility of an engagement when a fan posted a picture of Burrows supporting the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles on X (now Twitter) with the message, “Our good sis Bry Burrows received her ring! Congratulations to Jalen Hurts and her! On Friday, September 13, they gave Essence confirmation that they are engaged.
The football star reportedly asked her to marry him while they were on a tropical trip together during the NFL summer. He made sure to arrange roses, candles, and a violinist to enhance the romantic atmosphere. In photos they provided to Essence the two of them are seen smiling with matching white outfits and looking off into the sunset on the beach.
