Donna Kelce Reacts After Being Confused for Taylor Swift’s Mom Andrea Swift

Taylor Swift Reportedly Makes Decision on Attending Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s mom recently became the subject of an internet jumble when fans called out one Swiftie who had mistaken Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea Swift for Donna.

 

 

It all began when Star Wars actor Mark Hamill replied to a photo of Andrea at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Sept. 15 game sporting an “In my 87 era,” pin—a nod to both Travis’ jersey number and Taylor’s current Eras Tour—writing, “#ILoveTaylorSwift’s mom.”

A fan who goes by chiefsera24 reposted the message on Sept. 16, adding on X, “This is the sweetest thing I’ve read all day,” and tagged not Andrea but Donna.

 

 

Thanks to the tag, other social media users speculated the fan couldn’t tell the difference between the two famous blonde moms.

However, Donna proved she has nothing but love for her online supporters, responding to the user directly on Sept. 20, “Love you too!!” The validation from the NFL mamma was what the X user needed, writing, “Mrs Kelce I’m sorry I got you in the middle of this twisted narrative.

I actually did make a mistake and said so right away but …. Twitter did what twitter does. I appreciate this gracious post and btw I love you too. Best mom living her best life.”

 

 

Despite the mix-up over Donna and Andrea, there is no confusion as to how much the two get along, as they were spotted sharing a sweet moment at the Sept. 15 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Donna and Andrea shared a big hug in their box before chatting for a few minutes while Donna adorably held onto Andrea’s arm. And while Andrea gave a nod to Travis and Taylor with her pin, Donna also paid tribute to the couple, both 34, with the embroidery on her custom black Chiefs baseball cap at the Sept. 5 game.

The front of the cap was adorned with images of sprigs of white cosmos, the flower for Travis’ birth month October, and sprigs of holly, the flower for Taylor’s birth month December.

It also included Travis’ 87 jersey number. And as the hat’s designer Alexa Pearlmutter shared on TikTok Sept. 6 after it went viral, her “general idea was to incorporate matching florals to pair with the red/white asymmetrical logo and work @Travis Kelces #87 into the design.”

But Donna and Andrea aren’t the only ones being adorable, as Travis and Taylor have shared plenty of sweet moments over the course of their love story.
