The Kansas City Chiefs are all business ahead of their huge Week 11 clash with the Buffalo Bills. However, that doesn’t mean they aren’t going to have a little bit of fun now and then, as evidenced by a hilarious new clip involving defensive tackle Chris Jones and tight end Travis Kelce.
After grinding out a hard-fought 16-14 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 10, the Chiefs pushed their record to 9-0 on the year, which has set the stage for their massive contest with the Bills in Week 11.
Per usual, Jones and Kelce figure to play a huge role in helping give Kansas City a shot to come out on top against Buffalo. During a recent practice, though, Jones and Kelce briefly became enemies when the star tight end “dunked on” Jones, prompting a hilarious four-word reaction from the talented defensive lineman.
“He caught me slipping,” Jones said on X, formerly Twitter, in reply to the viral video of Kelce getting the best of him,.

The immediate reaction Chiefs fans likely will have to seeing this video is fear, as Jones falls to the ground, not seeing Kelce flying in. Anytime that happens, there’s going to be concern that he could have suffered an injury, but thankfully, he quickly got back up with the help of several teammates, including Kelce.
Instead, fans can enjoy this hilarious video of the duo goofing around at practice. Kelce sure does catch Jones by surprise, and even though he doesn’t make full contact with him, that surprise led to Jones finding himself on the ground. According to the man himself, he was simply slipping, which is why he fell.
In weeks full of long, arduous preparation for their games, it’s good for the players to blow off some steam with moments like this. Of course, the Chiefs are likely hoping to avoid further putting their players at risk of injury, even though that risk wasn’t particularly high here.
While this elicited a laugh from the rest of the team and their fans, Jones and Kelce quickly went back in business mode as they continue to prepare for their pivotal matchup with the Bills.
