The Kansas City Chiefs must defeat the Houston Texans in Week 16 if they hope to guarantee a first-round bye and home field advantage in the postseason.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ ankle injury sustained during the team’s 21-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 raised concerns, but the three-time Super Bowl MVP seemed to be fine versus Texas, scoring a 15-yard rushing touchdown on the first drive.
Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of tight end Travis Kelce, showed up to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, to support the Chiefs.

Before kickoff, the 35-year-old pop queen made a spectacular debut at GEHA Field, but in the third quarter, her confidence began to wane.
Swift’s mouth dropped during the game, and as the Texans defense began to attack Kelce and company, she was obviously frightened, just like the rest of Chiefs Kingdom.
“We’ve all been there during a tense game moment!” wrote one fan. Someone else said, “She’s all of us.”In addition, one woman said, “me too girl.”
QB CJ Stroud and company persevered to keep the game competitive, but Houston’s offense took a serious hit when wide receiver Tank Dell was carried off the field after collecting a 30-yard touchdown with what seemed to be a serious knee injury.
Swift has only gone to games at Arrowhead Stadium so far this season. Security concerns are said to be the reason behind her decision to only play at home games after the possibility of a terrorist attack prompted her to postpone her Eras tour dates in Vienna in August.
The singer of “Karma” is anticipated to spend the Christmas season with Kelce, but it’s uncertain if she will be present at the Chiefs’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25 at Acrisure Stadium.
The Texans-Chiefs game might be Swift’s final regular season appearance because Kansas City will play the Denver Broncos on the road in Week 18.
