Brittany Mahomes is taking heat for her photo she posted live from the Super Bowl in New Orleans. The wife of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback showed off her all-white outfit in New Orleans.
The Chiefs and the Eagles played at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, February 9. The Chiefs were going for a historic three-peat, though the Eagles had other plans.
Philly raced out to a big lead early and did not look back, defeating Kansas City, 40-22, to win the second Super Bowl title in franchise history. It was a rough night for Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs quarterback threw two crushing interceptions and lost a fumble.
He made a couple of big throws late, though at that point, the game was already long over. He blamed himself for the loss.
“Obviously the turnovers hurt, I take all the blame for that,” Mahomes said. “Those early turnovers swing the momentum of the game and they capitalized on them.
They scored on one and they got a touchdown immediately after, so that’s 14 points I kinda gave them. It’s hard to come back from that in a Super Bowl. Just didn’t play up to my standard and I have to play better next time,” he told reporters postgame.
Brittany Mahomes, meanwhile, seemed more concerned with her outfit for the game. The wife of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback took to social media to show off her outfit while her husband’s team was getting crushed.
“LIX,” she wrote, showing off her stunning all-white outfit. NFL fans roasted her for the photo. “This is what you are posting when the team is down 24-0 at halftime?” one fan wrote.
“Maybe a congrats to the Eagles to show it’s not all about you?!?! ” one fan added. “Tell your husband to wake up. He’ll never be Brady,” one fan added. “Girl your man is STRUGGLING tonight ,” one fan added. Brittany Mahomes is going to show off her Super Bowl look, but maybe choose a better time next time.
The Chiefs will look to rebound in 2025.
