The Cincinnati Bengals’ season is hanging by a thread, and unless the defense gets a major boost from the return of Myles Murphy and McKinnley Jackson this week, they could fall out of contention in the AFC North.
It shouldn’t be a surprise then that only 43% of Bengals fans polled by SB Nation are confident in the team.
And the vast majority of Who Dey nation doesn’t think the team will win the division, with only 19% predicting they take another AFC North crown.
Of course, there isn’t complete despondency, as the most popular finish for the Bengals was second place, with 38% of voters predicting runner-up status for Cincinnati.
Meanwhile, Bengals fans’ popular pick to win the AFC North wasn’t the 3-1 Pittsburgh Steelers but rather the 2-2 Ravens, who are coming off an impressive win over the Buffalo Bills.
Of course, all these numbers will look a lot different if the Bengals can pull out a win on Sunday.
