WNBA player publicly declares her devotion to the Baltimore Ravens
Angel Reese, a forward for the Chicago Sky, is not fond of false accusations made against him.
So when Reese showed up to the Chicago Bears clash versus the Carolina Panthers on Sunday wearing her own homemade Bears jersey, the comment section instantly put her on blast for having no love to the Baltimore Ravens, the team Reese claims is her favorite.
For the 22-year-old WNBA player, who also attended the Ravens-Bills game last week while sporting a personalized Ravens jersey, it’s a poor look.
Reese decided to address the matter on X after Bleacher Report accused her of “going on an NFL tour,” most likely because she had had enough of people calling her out for being a bandwagon jumper.
“I’m from Baltimore but I live in Chicago. This ain’t no tour sorry!” Reese wrote.
Reese was selected by the Chicago Sky with the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, so it makes sense that she would want to cheer on her hometown NFL club.
Along with Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, who is married to Bears safety Jonathan Owens, Taylor Swift, who is dating Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and renowned Dallas Cowboys fan Post Malone, among others, she is the most recent high-profile celebrity to show support for the NFL this season.
